NCASC Mission
 

The mission of the North Carolina AfterSchool Coalition is to build a profession that develops, supports, and promotes quality programs for school-age children and youth during out-of-school time.

NCASC Goals:
  • To promote networking and collaboration among individuals and organizations serving school-age children and youth.
  • To provide opportunities for professional development by offering training to and sharing information with school-age professionals and supporters.
  • To advocate for the needs of school-age children and youth during out-of-school time.
  • To promote NAA (formerly NSACA) accreditation and North Carolina Rated Licensure.
